Why insist on the culture?

Repeatedly been raised in this and other areas where it has had the opportunity to do the urgent and imperative need of creating cultural entities are the way to quench their thirst and hunger for culture with the people of Guerrero.

Years pass and we seem to be resigned to a sub conformism when framing mcultural cultural patterns in different areas, mainly in instances where discussion, debate and agree to be appropriate.

Exactly six years ago, when expectations for changing state government were well above normal, was tabled at the request of the then governor-elect, the most innovative cultural project and important in cultural terms: the creation of Secretariat culture.

However, as the cabinet was broken, it was felt that the request had been vehemently a distraction and a fallacy and not a serious and responsible effort to advance the cultural standards of the state of Guerrero. Nevertheless, the conviction prevailed by a few months later confirmed that he was just a campaign promise. So concrete and elegant.

On this occasion, before and during the weeks of electoral rebating, again a group of workers of culture, proposed reviving the proposed cultural bodies in Guerrero in the heat of the race. Upon learning the outcome of who will govern Guerrero, has not yet been established what the actual proposal is intended in the field of culture.

There are several groups devoted to cultural activities in its various aspects, modalities and specific areas that have come together to explore the proposal and present it to the new ruler in the state. Some argue that Guerrero remains the Institute of Culture (IGC) and build the infrastructure and experience of those who spent years in such things. Others pose as something novel to create a Cultural Council to regulate and limit the boundaries of disciplines of Culture.

Both proposals, which are not the only-no real substance and validity in light of the urgent needs of the cultural community and the general public.

For our part, we have held meetings with those with years in the cultural activities of the seven regions of the state. The diagnosis is more severe and meets the requirements of a wide range of state culture makers, and service requests to improve working conditions and protect workers' rights in what remains of the IGC, has raised the relevance and ratified the original proposal in the sense of creation of the Ministry of Culture Warrior.

Stay in the approach of an instance in rank and lower margins of maneuver for better conditions of artistic and cultural spaces is contrary to the aspirations of thousands of Guerrero who have aspirations of cultural development comparable to states with the greatest infrastructure in different rubles.

So today we confirm the feasibility of the Ministry of Culture. The objective and subjective conditions are given. Just a matter of unifying efforts of those who hold lower aspirations. The roads to arrive at an inclusive cultural project must be searched by those who have established themselves as commissioners of the area concerned. To maintain an ambiguous attitude and sectarian or reductionist and exclusive, only lead to cultural decline.

It's time to make decisions that benefit the broad, diverse and heterogeneous range of makers of culture in the state. Add a sign of clear intentions to have culture ...

Finally, INEGI, has announced the full accounting of Mexicans in the country: we are already 112 000 000 336 000 538 persons, of which 57 million 481 thousand 307 are women and 54 million 855 thousand 231 are men.
